Alex has been working in the Events and Hospitality industry for over 12 years, first realising that she could plan a party for a living after organising her own 18th birthday party. With a degree in Communications from Newcastle University, where a pre-requisite of the course was experiencing the infamous Geordie nightlife, Alex began a post-uni internship working for Lady Elizabeth Anson, the Queen’s first cousin, working as a Party Planner for the well-heeled of London’s Notting Hill society. After this invaluable internship, Alex has worked for a number of events and catering companies including Peyton and Byrne, Food by Dish, Harbour & Jones, Tobacco Dock and the Eventist Group, fulfilling a variety of roles from Sales Executive to Marketing Manager to General Manager to Director. Alex’s experiences from her hundreds of brides to huge budget corporate events to scrubbing the dance floor (quite literally) ensures that her skills, experience and knowledge will ensure that your event will be a success. No event is too big or too small... no brief is too weird or too wacky.
